The Town of Lanesborough has opted into the Commonwealth’s “Property Assessed Clean Energy” (PACE) Program. This program allows commercial and industrial property owners to access financing for energy improvements. To finance improvements, a property owner agrees to a betterment assessment issued through the municipality, which repays the financing.
