Supplemental Nutrition Programs

Weekly Luncheon; Brown Bag Program; Meals on Wheels

Weekly Luncheon
Luncheon is served in the Community Room at the Town Hall twice a week. Tuesdays and Thursdays a delicious lunch is provided for a modest contribution of $2.00 for Seniors 65 and up.  You can’t beat that. Luncheon is served at 11:30 on the dot. If you need a ride call the COA van. Reservations are required one day in advance, call the COA office.

Brown Bag Program
The Brown Bag Program supplies nutritious groceries that enable seniors to make easy meals that contribute toward a balanced diet, which is especially important in helping fight nutrition-related diseases such as diabetes and hypertension.

The Brown Bags are assembled by a staff of dedicated senior volunteers on the 4th Friday of each month and available for pick up at the Town Hall Community Room the following Monday. A $3 donation is suggested. For eligibility information and an application, go to the bottom of this page.

Meals-on-Wheels
If you find that you are housebound and would like to have nutritious meals delivered to your door, let us know and we will connect you with the Meals on Wheels Program. Call the COA Director at (413) 448-2648. You are not eligible for Meals on Wheels if you are able to drive.
